Attorney Eric Chase Quoted on Obscenity Case

Attorney Eric Chase wrote a memo in March of 2010 related to his defense of obscenity charges brought against his client for buying Japanese Manga which contained sexual images of minors.  Today, on an unrelated case, comicbookresources.com quoted Mr. Chase's earlier memo, stating “Chase is dead on.”  The new article can be read in its entirety here:

Both are a good read and are helpful in understanding not just obscenity but the plea bargaining process in general and the pressure that is placed on defendants in a criminal case in deciding between trial and accepting a plea offer.
