Attorney Summer McKeivier handles a wide variety of cases in the criminal defense field and has earned a reputation for her intensive preparation and equally impressive case results. Most recently, she obtained a result of three years probation for a client caught in a Federal sting operation who was facing many years in prison.
Ms. McKeivier began her education at Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. After spending time in Washington, DC, Ms. McKeivier switched fields to law. She eventually moved to Los Angeles, where she attended Southwestern University School of Law.
After completing her law studies, Ms. McKeivier joined the Donald Beiderman Entertainment and Media Law Institute and became in house counsel for a production company. Ms. McKeivier also worked for the District Attorney's Office in Van Nuys, California where she was an integral part of a series of major criminal convictions.
During the last decade, Ms. McKeivier has focused her practice in the area of Federal criminal defense across the country. She is currently admitted to practice law by the State Bars of California and Texas and further admitted to practice in all of the Federal District Courts in those jurisdictions as well as the Central District of Illinois and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. To date, she has practiced in over 20 states. This nationwide practice has helped her establish relationships with attorneys, prosecutors, law enforcement and judges across the country.
